2017 YFC Runway Run Photo Gallery

For the third year in a row, the Fredericton International Airport (YFC) opened up its runways for the YFC Runway Run on May 27, 2017. Runners got the chance to take off on YFC’s runways, which were temporarily closed to air traffic, making for a memorable and unique race, and in the process raised $28,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick.

Alongside the race was a family-friendly aviation expo, which was open to the public with free admission and parking. Visitors could explore airplanes, vehicles from our neighbour 5 CDSB Gagetown, and some of the equipment that keeps the airport’s runways open throughout our formidable winters.
