4 a.m. is a beautiful time at the Fredericton International Airport

We recently invited local photographers Bang-On Photography to come take some shots of the airport, and boy did they deliver!

They arrived at 4 a.m. because the busiest part of the day at YFC is first thing in the morning, with a host of flights departing between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m..

Why so early? Because Air Canada’s designed the schedule to make sure that if you need to do a day trip to one of our direct destinations, you can do that, and they’ve also ensured that flights from YFC to the hubs at Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa connect with flights continuing west (which means, for example, if you’re flying to Victoria you can do that in the same day without having to overnight in Toronto).

So I met Chris and Chantal bright and early and escorted them on the apron while they captured YFC in the wee hours of the morning.

Here’s a sneak peek at their work:

Since I was at the airport so very early, I also took the opportunity to grab a timelapse video of our beautiful sunrise and all the activity on the apron. Check it out on our YouTube Channel!
