Enhanced security screening in place at Canadian airports

Travellers are advised that enhanced security screening measures are in place at Canadian airports. CATSA require that all electronic devices be charged before you arrive at security screening, as you may be asked to power them on. You may also be asked to remove them from any protective cases, so it is recommended that you ensure that cases can be easily removed (or remove them prior to entering the security screening area).

These enhanced measures may require more time at the airport, and we recommend that travellers arrive early to allow for the check-in, bag drop off, and security screening process.

More information can be found at the CATSA website.
