First Air Transat flight of the year takes off for the Dominican Republic

Excited travellers traded winter for summer this morning with Air Transat’s first flight of 2018 taking off for the Dominican Republic from Fredericton. The Fredericton International Airport Authority added a festive flair to the morning, hosting a special send-off featuring the Latin beats of Jon Bailey, Jason Flores, and Kelly Waterhouse, along with a few other surprises.

Air Transat flies to Puerto Plata and Punta Cana Wednesdays from March 7 until May 2, 2018. Both destinations are in the Dominican Republic, and offer beautiful beaches, great resorts, and exciting day trips for travellers seeking a sunny getaway.
