The initial tendering processes for the terminal expansion and renovation project have been completed. A firm has been hired to manage the project. After reviewing submissions for construction, however, it became apparent that although a “class A” estimate was completed for this project none of the submitted bids met the required budget.

The Fredericton International Airport Authority is committed to delivering on our promise of a modern, comfortable, efficient, and safe facility for our travelers, and to ensuring that the public funds entrusted to this project are effectively utilized.  Therefore, the project team is working to streamline the design and project to meet these goals. A new tender will be released in the coming months, and we anticipate that major construction activities will begin in Spring 2019.
