Travel measures related to COVID-19 removed for all travellers beginning October 1

The Government of Canada has announced that beginning October 1, it will remove COVID-19 related travel measures. This means:

  • masks will be optional
  • proof of vaccination will not be required for any travellers
  • there will be no requirement for COVID-19 testing
  • there will be no requirement for travellers to complete COVID-19 quarantine
  • travellers will no longer be required to submit public health information through the ArriveCAN app or website
