Job Opening:
Airfield Safety Maintenance (ASM) Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Seasonal, November to April)
As a member of a dedicated, enthusiast and professional team you will report directly to the team leader for the shift. The ASM (Seasonal) is a key resource of the Fredericton International Airport Authority’s winter Safety Management System. This position requires the operation and repair of standard and specialized apparatus, including manual work, to provide airport safety maintenance to achieve safe operations and compliance to Canadian Aviation Regulations. Must be able to work shifts.
Salary: $31.67/hour
Certification/Experience: Truck and Trailer or Heavy Equipment Mechanic with 3-5 years’ experience.
Languages: English
Credentials:
- Journeyperson Certificate
- Driver's License with Air Brakes
- WHMIS Training, an asset
General Duties: Maintain and repair airport heavy equipment, and operate small, medium, and heavy equipment.
