Fredericton is ready to welcome travellers this summer
June 15, 2021
With vaccinations increasing and provinces releasing their COVID-19 re-opening plans, Canadians are beginning to look forward to a summer of safely reconnecting with friends and family across the country. Fredericton is no exception!
Flights return beginning June 26
Air Canada will return to the Fredericton International Airport with service to Montreal on June 28 and Toronto on July 1, and from there travellers can connect to the rest of its network. Similarly, WestJet will resume service to Toronto on June 26 with connections throughout its network.
In addition to these returning services, the Fredericton International Airport is excited to welcome PAL Airlines with two new destinations launching June 28: Deer Lake and St. John’s Newfoundland. This service will help families reconnect, save business travellers time and money, and allow travellers to take advantage of the Atlantic Bubble when it opens. And on July 30 PAL Airlines will launch two additional routes connecting Fredericton to Ottawa and Halifax.
