To ensure the safety & security of our passengers during construction of the terminal expansion, there have been temporary changes to our parking, taxi, and passenger drop-off/pick-up areas. Parking rates remain the same.

Parking rates

Stays less than 15 minutes are free

$2 for first 2 hours

$2 for each hour thereafter

 

Long-term rates

$12.00 per day

$60.00 per week

Payment options

Option 1

When entering either parking lot: Press the button and take a ticket. Make sure you keep your ticket!

Pay at the pay station inside the terminal with cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

 

Option 2

When entering either parking lot: Press the button and take a ticket. Make sure you keep your ticket!

Pay at the pay station in the parking lot with debit, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express (cash is not accepted at this pay station).

 

Option 3

When entering either parking lot: Press the button and take a ticket. Make sure you keep your ticket!

Pay at the exit gate with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express (cash and debit not accepted at the exit gate).

 

Option 4

HotSpot

New! Now you can pay for parking in the long-term lot at YFC with the HotSpot app. Download the HotSpot app on your smartphone from the App Store or GooglePlay.

To enter the long-term parking lot:

  • Pull up to the long-term parking gate.
  • Open the HotSpot app and go to the parking section. This is found on the bottom of the screen.
  • Switch from metered parking to gate parking at the top of the screen.
  • Press the red “use tap’ button in the center of the page and tap your NFC enabled device to the HotSpot tap chip located on the gate you are entering through.
  • The gate will open and your parking session will begin.

To exit the long-term lot:

  • Open the HotSpot app.
  • Go to the parking section in the app.
  • Your active session is on this screen. You will see the cost and duration of the session displayed on-screen.
  • Press “use tap” and tap your NFC enabled phone to the HotSpot tap-chip located on the exit gate.
  • The exit gate will open.
  • Your session is ended and your credit card is charged for your parking session.

Drop off/Pick up Areas

A designated area close to the Departures Entrance allows for greater convenience when dropping off passengers. As at all Canadian airports, for safety and security reasons, this area is for drop off only and vehicles may not be parked by the curb. Drivers are asked not to leave their vehicles unattended at the curb in front of the terminal building. Unattended vehicles may be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense.

Passengers can be picked up near the Arrivals entrance, but only as they exit the terminal building. Please do not wait in this area.

Remember – if you need a bit of extra time, or want to walk your family into the terminal, we offer 15 minutes free parking.
