Chess Piece Patisserie & Cafe

The newly renovated Fredericton International Airport is home to the newest location of Fredericton’s local staple, Chess Piece Pâtisserie and Café. Chess Piece is Fredericton’s only true Parisian style cafe offering incredible desserts, macarons, savoury pastries, soups, sandwiches and more. The new airport location features all of these along with quick-serve and family-friendly items for travellers on the go, beer and cider from local brewers, as well as a gift shop featuring items made by local artisans.

There are now two locations within the airport, one serving travellers inside the departures lounge (past security) and one in the arrivals area, which is open to both travellers and the general public.

Hours:

Departures Café

Monday to Sunday from the first flight departure until the last flight departure.

Arrivals Café

Monday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Arrivals café is accessible to the public - no boarding pass required!
